It's dangerous down-under

I remember being convinced as a child, that Australia was populated almost exclusively by dangerous animals and insects.  While I now know that is not entirely true, I discovered today that the Tasmanian Devil has the most powerful jaws of any mammal on earth.  Tasmanian Devils can apply over one ton of pressure per cubic foot.  They can open their jaws over 90 degrees.  They also smell really bad, which means you don't want to get too close to one (but if you do, the beastie will likely not attack you).
